The Asthma Freedom Snorkel is a nifty, intuitive contraption that enables snorkeling asthmatics to insert a removable Metered Dose Inhaler canister (a.k.a., a puffer canister) into the body of a snorkel. If/when needed, the user can receive immediate, on-demand medication delivery, dispensed via "the airflow delivery pathway of the snorkel" (a.k.a., the tall part that sticks out of the water), which is simply inhaled along with hearty lungs-full of air.
Featuring a dry shield to prevent water intrusion, a purge valve to clear water with ease, and a flex-tube for added comfort, the Asthma Freedom Snorkel is currently only available in the Australia and New Zealand area (a.k.a., "Down Under"). However, as the rest of the world has asthmatics, too, I imagine it'll be making its way across the globe soon.
[Thanks, Alberto!]
