DEMA 2006: Light & Motion's Housings

Light & Motion has a fantastic display at this year's DEMA. Not only is the booth, itself, nice, but the sleek, shiny housings simply look great. You can't help but want to go over and handle them. Right off the bat, I was intrigued by their housing for the Nikon D200, the Titan D200.

Of course, there are are also optional, wide-angle lens ports available:

There was also a sweet display featuring the Bluefin FX1 HD video housing.

And a majorly kicking set-up featuring the housing strapped to a scooter for creating mind-numbingly cool underwater sequences.

With HD, of course, this set-up will make viewers feel like they're right their with you -- without the annoyances associated with actually having to go diving.

1. Awesome looking housing, If only L&M had come out with the D-200 housing 7 months ago when they originally said they would.... We're a year into the release of that camera.

2. The D-200 Titan housing has been out for a few months they just had low runs and the market hasn't come along for that system until now. I looked at buying that system in early June but went with the D-50 and Sea/Sea housing.
I was looking for the "thumb tip" controls for lighting on the D-200 Titan like the D-100 housing, but they didn't have them.

That is a very nice looking scooter/HD Video setup, that should set you back a small car!
