3. That is a real baby shark. Embryonic sack still there. They look like that before they are born.

16. This is a real shark. It is young baby, perhaps even a pre birth specimen. The large sac is the embryonic sac, or yolk sac, common in many species of baby sharks.

17. It is a real shark, a young newborn or possibly preborn with the embryonic sac (or yolk sac) still intact. This is very common among many shark species.

18. I am an ichthyologist. "Embryonic sacs" are certainly more external- looking like external balloons. This is a more morbid case IMO. Some shark spp are canibalistic in the womb. This one ate its siblings and was born with a full stomach. Sounds crazy, but the most efficient hunter/eater is chosen pre-birth. Awesome creatures!
