Calling all entries! In an effort to celebrate the joys of scuba diving, Divester is sponsoring its first-ever underwater photo contest. The rules are simple:

• The photo has to be your photo.
• The photo has to have been taken underwater.

Dang, that's simple! If your picture meets that criteria, then you're all set. Here's how to enter:

• If you haven't already done so, sign up for a free account on Flickr, and join Divester's Flickr group, which is called This Is Why We Dive.
• Add your photos to This Is Why We Dive before Sunday, July 30, Wednesday, August 2 at midnight.
• Sit back and relax.

After you've added your photos to This Is Why We Dive, we'll look through them and select what we feel are the best ones. Shaun and Beth Tierney, authors of the excellent dive guide called Diving the World, will select their 10 favorite photos. We'll post those 10 on Divester, and Divester's readers will get to vote for their favorite! The winner will receive a free copy of Diving the World, not to mention the pride and responsibility of carrying with them the great honor of being named Divester's first photo contest winner!
