WoW Insider is getting ready for BlizzCon!

"Diving the World" Contest -- Win A Free Copy of The Book!

We told you recently how much we liked Diving the World, Beth and Shaun Tierney's eminently readable travel guide describing 220 of the world's best dives. Now, they want you to help them research their next book! Your fee: You could win a free copy of Diving the World!

Although the first edition of the book has just been published, the Tierneys are already hard at work gathering information for another book. And that's where you come in. They're trying to learn what dive spots you'd most like to see in a dive guide. In fact, they're so eager to hear your opinion that they've donated several copies of their book to get you to open up. Here's how this contest works:

  • The Tierneys have provided Divester with a list of 10 questions.
  • EVERYBODY who completely answers the first 9 questions is entered into a drawing and becomes eligible to receive a free copy of Diving the World.
  • The FIRST person to correctly answer Question 10 automatically receives a free copy of Diving the World.
  • Leave all answers in the comments field.

It's ridiculously simple, and answering all the qustions will take about 5 minutes. You have one week to answer the questions (meaning: after July 19, the contest is closed). Now get to it!

QUESTION 1: In which country do you live?

QUESTION 2: How long have you been diving?

QUESTION 3: Who do you travel with (partner/family/friends), and does everyone dive?

QUESTION 4: Where was your best dive holiday so far? Please be specific (e.g., A liveaboard to Komodo, not just Indonesia).

QUESTION 5: So many places, so little time! Which ONE of these dive regions appeals to you most?:

  • South East Asia,
  • Australia,
  • Eastern Pacific,
  • Western Pacific, or
  • The Indian Ocean.

QUESTION 6: Is you answer influenced most by COST or DISTANCE?

QUESTION 7: If cost and distance weren't an issue, where would you go - what's your your number 1 dream destination? Please be specific (e.g., A liveaboard to Komodo, not just Indonesia).

QUESTION 8: And if you really can't choose just one, what are the next two?

QUESTION 9: Is your destination choice influenced by what you can do on land, as well?

QUESTION 10: Can you identify this fish? Question 10
