The Phoenix 1000: More Luxurious Than the Seattle?

The Phoenix 1000If the Seattle 1000 didn't get you fired up, then maybe the Phoenix 1000 will. According to the website, the Phoenix 1000, as proposed, "would constitute the single largest private undersea vehicle ever built, and arguably, one of the most significant personal transportation devices of the century." Sadly, it still awaits a buyer...one who has $78 million.

At nearly twice the length of the Seattle, the Phoenix is 213 feet of personal luxury. It features 5000 square feet of living space and very large acrylic viewports, allowing for unforgettable undersea views. Featuring a state-of-the-art Flying Bridge, a spacious and comfortable deck saloon, a diver lock-out chamber, and a docking minisub (that can descend to 2000 feet!) for between 2 and 8 passengers, the Phoenix 1000 be a great way to head to your Trilobis Underwater Habitat for a long weekend.
