In all three cases, the athletes were reclaiming records they had previously owned but lost. There are three more
event days scheduled this week, and all indications are that more records will be set. If you’re interested,

For those of you who struggled just to get out of bed this weekend, I wanted to
let you know that several freediving records – including a
new World Record and 2 National Records – were smashed
this weekend. Not to rub it in or anything.

1. Saw a report on Good Morning America and the depths are incredible. I have to give props for the amount of focus they have. I wonder if the lungs just burn doing that.
