Scary Shark: Real or Not?

I don't know the origin of this image, but it's pretty cool. And pretty scary at the same time. The caption reads: "Sitting in a 3.8-meter sea kayak and watching a 4-meter great white approach you is a fairly intense experience." Um...yeah.

I think the terrain looks like the area around Gansbaai, which is the cage diving capital of the world.

Of course, we know that ~~bored~~ clever people can do all sorts of things with sharks and images of sharks. But what do you think? Is this image real, or has it been Photoshopped?

5. If anyone thinks that the picture is genuine - you must be blind. Have a look at the obvious join line between the area where the shark is and where the kayak is. It is especially obvious in the air.

6. This is a real image, however the photo circulating the web is taken from a two-page spread and hence the join line in the middle.

I've ordered a poster of the original photo from that website.

9. Not real. Looking at the link for the picture, closer up, the water on where the person is is different from the color of the water where the shark is.

12. ur lot are idiots of course theres a line its the magazine line, the water is didferent colours coz sea changes colour wen it gets deeper. and some people are lucky to get pictures at the exact time, it had obviously been approching for a long tine thats how they would've seen it and taken the photo. i have 2 admit tho it does scre the shit out of u imagine that was u fuck! lol

13. i think this photo is not real as if there was a real shark he would have had the man on the boat dead by now so this is probably not real im not saying it couldnt be real because it could not all sharks are mean. if this makes any sense lol :P
