Claiming to teach to you how to get the picture you want, how to process it, how to archive it, and how to share it
with the world, the Digital Diver Network features such things as a Digital Strobe Finder database; equipment reviews (including an unusual HOWTO on building an underwater housing for a Sony PDW-530
broadcast-quality camera!); a digital image processing software
guide; a Classified Ads section so you can buy or sell some
gear; and member-submitted trip reports (I enjoyed Isurus’ report on his diving at Brothers
Islands, in Egypt). All in all, it’s a tidy little resource for the digital shutterbugs out there. Check it
out.
The Digital Diver Network promises that on its network you can
utilize the talents and experience of “3307 friendly, helpful digital underwater photographers and one
grouch!” (Yikes, if it’s your first time there, I hope you get one of the friendlies.) Offering
digital underwater photography resources, news, training, contests, and more, the Digital Diver focuses on all things
digital and underwater – including cameras, housings, strobes, storage devices, software, and techniques.
