(Page 1)2. I'd heard that the animals might've been sick -- which may have contributed to their deaths. Interesting that that's not the case.

1. hi - had a brief conversation today with one of the critter people involved with that rescue effort and she told me that the necroprosy showed that the animals were healthy prior to beaching. apparently that is not uncommon in stranding episodes. just wanted to add this interesting tidbit.
