Check out this picture of a diver next to a 450 pound jellyfish, which seem to be invading the waters off of Japan, Korea and China. They are reported to be 100-times more of these animals than normal in the area, which is shutting down fishing operations.
However, it does look like Jellyfish Sushi is back on the menu.
2. Wow. Any idea if they are stinging people or if they are poisonous? That would suck.

1. No idea but most likely it's more dangerous to small animals rather than large ones. It seems in the animal world that the smaller animals seem to be more dangerous. The blue ringed octopus, coral snake and box jellyfish as examples of animals who pack a whole lot of punch in a real small package.
