China's Loch Ness -- The Kanasi Huguai

HuguaiTwenty years ago, Yuan Guoying spotted his first Huguai in China’s Lake Kanasi. Today, 4000 people a day travel to the extreme northern part of the country, just to see what Yuan has seen: China's very own version of the Loch Ness monster. Reportedly large enough to eat sheep and cows, Huguai are compared to the size of trees; one witness claims to have seen one 70 feet long!

Scientists – including Yuan himself – have determined that the Lake is, in fact, filled with a type of giant, freshwater salmon that thrives in frigid, deep, waters. Some of the scientists believe the Huguai is just a big salmon; Yuan disagrees. He thinks something else is out there. I bet Yuan'd love Surface!
