There are few things as sad and tragic as learning that a species is going extinct at the hands of man. Yet such seems to be the case with China's Yangtze River dolphin. The London Times reports that because of fishing nets, pollution and the Three Gorges Dam, the dolphin will be the first cetacean to be made extinct by man. Things don't look good. With China growing faster than bamboo, the dolphin and other species who call the river home don't have much of a chance. Very sad.
