I think I’m finally going to break down and buy an iPod. I’ve wanted one for years, and now, with the release of the Nano, I think it’s finally time. While poking around for some reviews of the Nano, I remembered Otterbox’s waterproof housings for regular iPod’s, the Mini, and the Shuffle. They claim the Nano’s case is coming soon. Prices for the various units range from $30 to $50. As a reminder, Otterboxes are only waterproof to 3 feet, so you can’t go scuba diving with them, but they’ll help you to protect your investment at the beach, while swimming, or on the dive boat.
For the interested, here’s a round-up of all waterproof MP3 players and waterproof housings for MP3 players. Let me know if I forgot something.
