1. Sharks are incredible creatures. Let's not forget Florida because they sure didn't. I did my check out dives in Florida and saw a nurse shark on dive 3 it was awesome!

Huge miss on the list of Aquariums...They list the "Florida Aquarium" but fail to mention:
In Florida at SeaWorld there is a large tank where you can walk through an acrylic hallway and look at all of the sharks.
(sorry to sound like I'm advertising)
They also have a Deep Dive for $150 so anyone can dive with sharks. I can't believe that isn't on the list for aquariums...

2. I wouldn't be diving if it wasn't for sharks. My pops had his first encounter with a shark while snorkling the great barrier reef, and then he made up his mind right then that he wanted to be a scuba diver. My pops, brothers, and myself all got certified (several years later). Since then, we've had some run-ins with sharks, and they've always been great. We saw some reef sharks while getting certified in the bahamas (one of which my pops chased right between my little brothers). Most recently, we took a trip to Belize. Nurse sharks were abundant on our dives, and they're alot of fun. On one dive, our divemaster snagged one and tossed it like a football to my pops. You can pretty much just grab the nurse sharks and play with them (not by the fins, but just gently behind the dorsal and under the belly). Also, when we dove the blue hole, we got a good view on a school of 8-10ft grays.
