Horror Movie Crew Member Drowns While Scuba Diving

Gerry Tychansky died this weekend while working on
Marina Monster, a low-budget horror movie filming in the western tip of Canada’s Lake Ontario. Tychansky and his wife were scuba diving while towing a shark-shaped prop in about 12 feet of water when his wife surfaced alone; Tychansky’s body was found several minutes later. An autopsy did not determine a cause of death. The coroner says he has ruled out physical trauma, and hopes further tests will reveal if the diver perished from an undetected physical condition or from equipment failure.
