Divester readers might have read here my rave review of the book Shadow Divers, a book that is gaining some serious traction in the publishing world and will soon be made into a motion picture by famed director Ridley Scott. Shadow Divers is one of the best books I've read in a while and it is a required addition to the library of any avid diver or diving enthusiast. So along these lines, here's a treat for you. Over at gadling, we have posted a brand new podcast with one of the book's main characters, John Chatterton. John discovered the mystery U-boat discussed in the book, and he is also the co-host of the History Channel's Deep Sea Detectives. he is an amazingly cool and affable guy, which comes across nicely in the podcast. We talked at some length (but not too much!) about his career, the book and the movie. Give a listen (and post any comments about the podcast if you have them!).
Enjoy!

1. Very cool interview, Erik. Chatterton seems like a normal guy who happened -- in small measure -- to be in the right place at the right time. Nevertheless, he grasped the opportunity to do something cool, important, FUN, and challenging with both hands. This is a great interview that anybody interested in diving, "adventure travel," or shipwrecks would obviously love. Further, if you dig movies, hard work, discovery, down-to-earth people, or New Jersey, you gotta tune in. Great work, Erik. You too, John.
