The creators of Blue Planet, one of my favorite documentary series of all time is out with another epic diving film called Deep Blue. Coming out this summer, it's supposed to be a sort of Winged Migration beneath the sea. It took over five years to complete and involved shooting at over 200 locations around the globe. Pierce "James Bond" Brosnan narrates. The film will run the gamut from creatures big to infinitesimally small, showing killer whales going mano-a-mano with polar bears, and going to extreme depths to catch some of the odd little beings who inhabit the ocean's darkness. You can catch the trailer at the site.
Seems very cool. Can't wait to check it out and write about it here.
