CSI. Then came CSI: Miami and CSI: New York. The shows are all entertaining . . . hogwash. However, the real-life CSI: Underwater – a team of scuba-diving scientists from FSU's Underwater Crime Scene Investigation program – have gone to Aruba to help search for Natalee Holloway, a high-school senior missing since May 30. She is believed to have been kidnapped, killed and dumped into the ocean. The scientists know they’re fighting an uphill (upstream?) battle, but they have some equipment they think might prove useful.
Apparently, FSU’s UCSI program – the only program of its kind in the nation – teaches students how to secure an underwater scene, gather evidence underwater, and present it in court.
