Understanding Your Equipment

regulatorHow often do you use things today....nay, DEPEND on them, utterly...and yet have no idea how they work? Your computer, for example. For many people today it is their life. All their work, their personal information, most everything sits as little ones and zeroes inside that box. Even your car, which many guys used to understand, they could open the hood and tinker, pull out a carburetor here, replace a fuel pump, even cars are now so complex that most people just take them to the mechanic to get fixed.

Well, when it comes to your scuba gear,. Perhaps you’re the same way. Perhaps you don’t want to understand how all that stuff works. But what if you do? Well, rather than crack open your reg and poke around inside, here is a great primer on understanding your scuba equipment. The part on regulators is especially good, with diagrams and detailed explanations of how the thing works. Further down, you'll find the part on BCs.

My guess is that you will enjoy this site.
