More on Bodner's Tankless SCUBA System

Tankless Last week, we mentioned Israeli inventor Alan Bodner’s new tankless scuba design. In a nutshell, Bodner’s design literally squeezes breathable air out of the surrounding water. The design has the potential to revolutionize the way humans interact with water. While the set-up is still in the prototype phase, it has already received patents in the EU and is currently winding its way through the U.S. patent office.

This week, an alert reader sent us a link that has an image of Bodner’s tankless system. Before you get too excited with what you’re abut to see, you should consider Bodner’s contraption is a Beta-Beta-version, of a prototype, of a design, of a work in progress. That still requires some tweaking.  When I saw the image, I chuckled and thought of Dr. Brown’s “flux capacitor” from Back to the Future. Anyway, they laughed at the Wright Brothers, too.

[Thanks, Jernej]
