The new ParentDish: helping raise kids of all ages

Oh Boya! La Jolla!

Map of La JollaI know what you’re going to think when you read this: I’ve never been diving in California.  Actually, I’ve never been to California, so I guess this admission makes sense.  Sometimes I think I’d like to go.  Then . . . I decide to do something else.  Oh well.  Maybe next spring.

Anyway, Steve Chapple’s piece about diving La Jolla Cove, The Shores, and La Jolla Canyon makes me want to go.  While these 3 pages aren’t earth-shattering, it’s a nice read: a relaxing read.  Just like a good weekend of diving should be.  So if you – like me – can’t make it out to La Jolla this weekend, read the article, close your eyes, and pretend for a minute  that you’ve just finished a terrific afternoon dive; you’re on the hang bar; a Garibaldi has just flashed past; and you’re headed to the Marine Room for sunset cocktails.  (Smile.  Sigh.  California.)
